Dr Ujjwal Karawande ( HoD of English Department, RAA, Aurangabad) the man behind the Spoken English programme, visited this training , observed some sessions and showed satisfaction.

There were 4 classrooms and each class was managed by 2 RPs. Mr Sandeep Patil and Mr Tushar Mahale, Mrs Manisha Rajput and Mrs Jyoti patil, Mrs Harsha Chavan And Mrs Mansi Bhosale, Mr Vishal Sonavane and Mr Suyog Dixit facilitated class 1,2,3 and 4 respectively. All these State level English Ambassadors put their best efforts and passed the knowledge and skills towards trainees. Everyone motivated and encouraged the participants to speak English. They engaged and involved  the  trainees in activities and facilitated each and every session according to the planning. They managed the time fabulously.

Online Disha played  a good role. She displayed many  images showing ideal path for the well going of training on twitter and whats app. She will lead the teachers with a lamp of English knowledge in upcoming days. Disha will explain many interactive activities on twitter and whats app. She will provide online as well as ongoing support to teachers who will work at ground level.  Teachers will be engaged through social media. Facebook closed group will also support to the teachers. Videos of best practices will be uploaded and they will work as the best evidences from teachers and learners.
It was our aim that most of the trainees will be better able to use twitter . They would open twitter account and tweet on spoken English.  We got  a little bit success. Most of the trainees tweeted and it created positive atmosphere on twitter. The use of technology in pedagogy is also important. Teachers should be twitter friendly and they should be accustomed with this social media. With #RAASpoken English and @online Disha many posted relevant tweets.  To promote the use of twitter , we declared prize and it worked very well. The person who will tweet more will be awarded with surprise prize. So in every class participants tried their best and one who tweeted more was given a cup having a logo of spoken English and RAA, Aurangabad.
Poster presentation competition also got huge response. “ How to give more exposure to speaking English inside the classroom ?” Participants came up with many new ideas which are very useful for learners.

The journey of spoken English will continue with innovative ideas aiming at improvement in speaking English confidently among school children. We all believe that accuracy is followed by fluency and fluency by confidence.   To achieve this goal teachers need to be involved deeply with English atmosphere. To immerse children and teachers with spoken English.  Teacher activity groups, Spoken English programme and English teachers forum are going to work in this direction.

The logo of spoken English says,” Be global from local.” English is now serving a global language.  A creeper goes upward and children will also progress like creepers with the help of English language.

Let’s help children to speak English fluently and confidently………………………….
