Jalgaon district rocks in Tejas and MOOC with the support of DIECPD, Jalgaon

(Spoken English Massive Open Online Course launching event)

 This is notable change in English language teaching and learning that we can observe in Jalgaon district. DIECPD, Jalgaon has been conducting many initiatives in ELT, launched by Regional Academic Authority (English Expertise),Aurangabad.

These initiatives are Tejas-Tag meetings, Spoken English Massive open online course which teachers can access online using smartphones or laptops, language kit - a kit is provided to each zp school in which 44 learning items are given which are helping teachers as well as students to learn better English.

Dr Vidya Borse ma'am (Lecturer, Diecpd, Jalgaon) has been leading these projects successfully in each block of Jalgaon district. She is encouraging and motivating all the tag coordinators and mooc coordinators by visiting block level meetings, tag meetings, etc. She is supported by Mr Sandip Udavant (English Subject Assistant, DIECPD, Jalgaon). Mr Sandip sir is a primary teacher, but has been selected as ESA and British Council and RAA, Aurangabad has given him rigorous training of Tag, Spoken English MOOC. He is doing wonderful job to create positive atmosphere of English in Jalgaon district.

 All the tag coordinators of Jalgaon have been successful to complete tag year one and now conducting tag meetings using Tag resource books of year two.
