Hon.Dheerajkumar reflects on IATEFL2017

 Mr.Dheerajkumar sir's insightful reflection on IATEFL2017

Hon.Dheerajkumar (Commissioner of Education of Maharashtra) attended IATEFL2017 held in Glasgow during 3rd April to 7th April 2017.  Dr.Subhash Kambale (Dir.pradeshik vidya pradhikaran,Aurangabad) ,John Parnham(Senior academic manager, British council, west India), Gauri Puranik (Head English partnerships west India) and Krutika Burghate ,SARP  attended  this conference from Maharashtra, too.

Mr. Dheeraj sir thanked to Bitish council for availing this opportunity. So many teachers and delegates from different parts of the world came together in IATEFL to learn,to discuss in English. Some key points He shared with us like,''Language have many aspects. different angles.and conference has been organised in a way ,,it is fantastic.Coordinators worked really hard."
He also stated that how cpd is very useful for the teachers. And the same things that we are implying in our country. The experience of Iran and UK is also the same.
Secondly ,Dheeraj sir said ,'We come to know that teaching is basically a joyful learning itself. Teachers do learn when they are in peers and in groups.Teachers from different countries came here ,sitting together, listening and taking knowledge for themselves.
This is also happening in India. But we need to take it forward with the help of British Council's TEJAS project.
"Knowledge and skills ,presented in different workshops or in plenary sessions ,are really eye openers"
We feel This will help... and many teachers are interested and they joined the conference via face book live. They are seeing how conference is being conducted, how it has been organised... It  shows the aspiration of teachers for their students to improve their English better...in speaking ,writing ,reading and learning.
Dear sir assured ," This conference will  surely take us  to new heights . It will give new directions to work in the field of quality education ..
Finally ,sir thanked British council and IATEFL....

Wording by Ashok Chavan (SARP,Nashik)
